Are you dreaming of a beautiful modern wedding cake for your special day? Is it important to you that your wedding cake is lovingly baked from scratch using only the finest quality ingredients and tastes incredible? Do you want a stylish and unique wedding cake that is designed just for you, rather than something "off the shelf"?
There's a fine selection of wedding cake makers in Scotland, someone for everyone, so I always like to begin by making sure we're a good match and making my processes clear and transparent for you to decide if I'm the right cake designer for you and have confidence in your decision to book with me.
My couples choose to book with me for various reasons... They like my clean and contemporary style of cakes. CHECK AVAILABILITY FOR YOUR WEDDING DATE
You've set a date and your venue is booked, now's an ideal time to get in touch if you're considering booking your wedding cake with me.
I only take on a small number of wedding cake bookings per month to ensure that you receive a highly personalised experience and your cake gets my undivided attention. Therefore, my availability may already be limited even 12-18 months in advance, so don't hesitate to make an initial enquiry to find out if I'm available for your date.
Simply complete my online contact form and I'll get back to you as soon as possible to let you know, and we can have a chat to see if we're the right fit, then take things from there.

CONFIRM YOUR WEDDING CAKE BOOKING
If you're keen to book with me, a £100 non-refundable booking fee immediately secures your date in my diary, leaving you free to carry on getting the other important aspects of your wedding planned and your suppliers booked. We'll catch up again further down the line and I'll also be in touch to arrange for one of my luxury cake tasting boxes to be sent out to you to enjoy.
If you'd prefer to try my cakes before committing to a booking, you're welcome to order one of my cake tasting boxes which are available at various points throughout the year.

WEDDING CAKE TASTING
Surely a highlight of your wedding planning, and certainly a truly memorable aspect of your wedding cake experience. You'll receive one of my luxury cake tasting boxes delivered to your door, filled with a selection of delicious cake samples for you to begin thinking about flavours and how your wedding cake might taste. A delectable treat, best enjoyed with a bottle of fizz or a freshly brewed pot of tea, whatever tickles your tastebuds.

WEDDING CAKE DESIGN CONSULTATION
Approximately four to six months before your wedding date, I'll get in touch again to arrange a consultation meeting to start planning your cake design. By this stage you'll likely have a good idea of the other elements of your wedding, such as colours, themes and floristry, so we can consider how these might also be incorporated into your cake design. I'll send you a short form to complete to capture some details beforehand, then we can meet over a video call or in person if you're local to me.
Following our meeting, I'll put together some initial ideas and sketches into a proposal, along with tailored quotes, and we'll continue to tweak and finalise your design until it's the perfect fit for you.

THE FINAL DETAILS OF YOUR WEDDING CAKE
Around six weeks before your big day, I'll get back in touch to finalise everything with you and this is also when the final balance is due.
Around a week before your wedding date, I'll liase with your venue and any other suppliers, such as your florist for any cake flowers, to coordinate delivery and set-up of your cake. I'll also be getting ready to start work on your cake, and might even have already made any sugar flowers or other design pieces to decorate your cake.
There's really not long to go at this stage, so we want all the admin and processes wrapped up, so you can start to enjoy the countdown to your big day.

ON YOUR WEDDING DAY
On the day of your wedding, I'll arrive at your venue at the agreed time to set up your cake. Wedding cakes are heavier than you might imagine, so I often transport your cake with each tier boxed individually, and allow plenty of time to stack and assemble it on site. Once I'm happy with it, I'll get my camera out to get some finished shots of it all and I'll catch up with your venue coordinator or caterers to provide them information about flavours, allergens and cutting the cake.
At this stage, there's nothing for you to do other than relax, enjoy your day, admire your cake design vision that has come to life, and most importantly, enjoy a large piece of your delicious wedding cake!

Booking a wedding cake in Scotland from overseas, wondering how it works?
I've worked with various couples planning destination weddings in Scotland from Europe, the US, and the Middle East, and we've always managed to tailor and tweak the process to suit their needs, to ensure that their wedding cake experience is no less special.
I'm highly accommodating with navigating time zones, coordinating cake tasting boxes and in person meetings whenever you're visiting Scotland ahead of your wedding, I have systems in place to accept international payments, and I'll happily work with your appointed wedding planner to ensure a seamless experience.
I've previously lived abroad in Europe and Australia myself, and I know first-hand what it can be like trying to plan things from afar, so I'm here to make it as easy as we can. If we get really stuck, I can even bring my multi-lingual French and Spanish skills to the table - whatever it takes!
